Don't Let that "Incident" Turn into a "Crisis"

Don't Let that "Incident" Turn into a "Crisis"

WSPRA Crisis Communication Webcast

Recently, WSPRA collaborated with the Center for School, Youth, and Citizen Preparedness and the Department of Public Instruction by presenting a webcast entitled, School Safety: Don't Let that "Incident" Turn into a "Crisis."

WSPRA President Dorreen Dembski presented information about

  • the critical importance of communication during a school crisis
  • preparation for crisis communication
  • "red flag" situations during a crisis
  • how to handle "incidents" so they don't become "crises"

You can access the webcast at the following link.
