Thank you for visiting the official website of the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA), the home and heart of school communications.
WSPRA is dedicated to providing strategic advice, training, resources and multiple sources of professional development for school professionals interested in strengthening their communications skills, engaging their audiences and, ultimately, boosting student achievement by securing support and resources for our schools.
We are served by a volunteer board that strives to make professional development timely and meaningful for our members, whether you are facing a referendum or looking to increase your district’s presence in the variety of social networks gaining popularity among your publics. By becoming a member, you not only receive the opportunity to attend trainings at a discounted rate, but also are able to access all the resources available on our website. We also welcome you to try out WSPRA products: Social Media Guide, Crisis Communications Toolkit materials, and Guide to Difficult Negotiations.
Our organization is an Exemplary Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), and is well represented at the national level through presenters, NSPRA board service, and a network of helpful sources of information to those in other state chapters.
Of course, this excellence would not be possible without the work, dedication and support of our membership. Your success is our success! We appreciate the role you play in ensuring support of public schools and look forward to even more success as we work together to strengthen communications and public engagement in our communities.
Gratefully,
Melissa Badger 2011-2012 WSPRA President
